Inna's Qualifications

Inna received a degree in Classical Piano and Theory of Music, and has studied with major artists including Alexei Sultanov. She has been a pianist and music teacher in specialized music schools and colleges in the former Soviet Union, and for the last 15 years, has been a pianist and vocal accompianist for the Bethel United Methodist Church in Boulder, Colorado. Her teaching focuses on reading skills, musicianship, theory, and technical development, with many performance opportunities. Inna urges parents to think of learning to play the piano as similar to learning a new language.
Inna teaches a variety of ages including very young (trained in teaching children as early as 18 months) to adult. She has had many successful students and recently, in April 2008, 3 of her students have qualified for state competition held by the National Federation of Music.
In addition to her past success and experience, Inna continuously improves her own teaching ability by attending workshops and classes.
